Primary Job Title: ServiceNow Technical ConsultantAlternate/Related Job Titles: ServiceNow Developer ServiceNow Implementation Consultant ServiceNow Solutions Architect ServiceNow Platform Engineer ServiceNow ITSM Consultant Location: Indianapolis, INOnsite Flexibility: OnsiteContract Details (Contract roles only): Position Type: Contract Start: As Soon As Possible Pay Rate: $70 - 80/hr Job Summary: The ServiceNow Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow platform solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITAM, SPM, and TPRM. This role focuses on delivering scalable solutions aligned with platform best practices while supporting business process improvements. The consultant collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical configurations, leads solution design workshops, and develops integrations and custom applications within the ServiceNow ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and design ServiceNow solutions. Configure platform capabilities including workflows, UI policies, business rules, and script includes. Develop custom applications and enhancements using JavaScript and ServiceNow development frameworks. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub. Provide guidance on platform best practices, prioritizing configuration over customization when possible. Create technical design documentation, test scripts, and user stories to support development activities. Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure solution quality and maintainability. Troubleshoot complex system issues and serve as an escalation point for technical challenges. Implement performance improvements and enhancements within the ServiceNow platform. Required Experience: Experience designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITAM, SPM, or TPRM Experience developing applications and configurations within the ServiceNow platform Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and APIs Nice-to-Have Experience: Experience leading technical workshops and stakeholder solution design sessions Required Skills: ServiceNow platform configuration and implementation JavaScript development for ServiceNow applications REST and SOAP API integrations Preferred Skills: HTML and CSS development Integration Hub experience Workflow configuration and automation Technical documentation and testing practices Troubleshooting and system performance optimization Additional Skills: Business requirements gathering and mapping to technical solutions Development of script includes, UI policies, and business rules Technical design documentation creation Unit testing and code review participation Escalation management for complex technical issues Platform best practices and configuration strategy About GTT: GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
