Position Overview The Intermediate Elementary Principal will provide strong leadership in creating a positive school culture focused on student achievement, growth, and well-being. The successful candidate will bring energy, vision, and a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. Location: Knoch Intermediate Elementary School Enrollment: Approximately 300 students Grade levels: Fourth and Fifth Grade Position: 12-month administrative role Certification Requirements/Experience Preferred Pennsylvania K-12 Principal Certification or Elementary K-6 Principal Certification required Minimum of five (5) years of professional and/or administrative experience preferred Key Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Comprehensive knowledge of the teaching-learning process and effective instructional strategies Strong instructional leadership and commitment to student achievement Proven ability to use data analysis and data-driven instruction to improve learning outcomes Knowledge of best practices in instructional and assessment strategies Familiarity with PA Core Standards, curriculum mapping, and school improvement Experience with teacher supervision, including a new teacher observation model Exceptional communication, management, organizational, and interpersonal skills Strong technology skills and ability to support modern learning environments Additional Preferred Experience Budgeting and fiscal management Scheduling and school operations Supporting students with special needs and inclusive practices Employment is contingent upon completion of required Pennsylvania clearances, including: Act 34, Act 114, Act 126, and Act 151.
