Payrate: $51.00 - $52.00/hr. Position's Contributions to Work Group: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intellectual Property Coordinator to support our Intellectual Property Strategy Manager in managing and executing IP-related activities across programs and projects. This role ensures that intellectual property processes are integrated into product development and innovation initiatives, safeguarding and growing our IP portfolio. Typical task breakdown: IP Portfolio Management: Maintain and organize the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents and related documentation. 30% Program Tracking: Track E+ES programs from an IP perspective to ensure compliance and strategic alignment. 10% Project Reviews: Coordinate project reviews with IP Strategy Manager and IP Legal, maintaining Intellectual Property Strategy Worksheets. 10% Invention Capture: Schedule and facilitate invention capture sessions for new technologies and innovations. 10% Program Integration: Support IP activities at key development stages (NTI, Small Batch, NPI gateways). 10% Third-Party Agreements: Drive teams to establish NDAs, MDAs, and service agreements ahead of product development or service use. 10% Contract Routing: Assist in routing agreements for leadership approval and secure contracts executed in the repository. 10% Patent Processes: Ensure invention notification forms are processed and filing decisions made before public disclosures. 5% Patent Maintenance: Support patent annuities and portfolio maintenance as the IP portfolio matures. 5% Patent Review Board: Provide administrative and coordination support for Patent Review Board activities. Education & Experience: Years of experience: 5-7 years or equivalent Degree requirement: Business, Engineering, Legal or related fields Willing to take master's with 3 years' experience NO 2-year degrees Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Technical Skills: Familiarity with intellectual property processes, including patents and contracts Experience in IP portfolio management or legal support Knowledge of NDAs, MDAs, and service agreements Understanding of product development processes and innovation cycles Soft Skills: Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions. Confidentiality: Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive IP and legal information. Stakeholder Management: Builds strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in documentation and compliance processes. Proactive Mindset: Anticipates needs and takes initiative to keep IP processes on track. Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $51.00 - $52.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
