Medical Technologist Hematology

In Hematology at Main Campus Children's of Alabama Work schedule will be part time on the Day shift, 5am-3:30pm Thursday-Wednesday. Summary: Responsible for performing procedures utilizing standard laboratory procedures and instruments to make determinations of body fluids and substances to aid in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of disease. Other information: Effective January 1, 2020, new hires into this position must obtain the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) certification within 18 months of hire. Employees hired prior to this date are grandfathered and remain compliant. Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications: Essential: Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist - AMT Education with Equivalent Qualifications: Essential: Bachelors of Science or Arts in Biological Sciences Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
