Occupational therapist will measure and record residents function, ADLs, self-care, and functional mobility. Occupational therapist will observe residents and write evaluations, progress reports, discharges, and all necessary documentation. Occupational therapist will assist residents in carrying out specific exercises. Occupational therapist will treat residents with a variety of techniques. Occupational therapist will help residents use necessary equipment and devices. Occupational therapist will educate residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle and improve function. Occupational therapist will maintain residents' confidence by keeping information confidential. Occupational therapist will comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Occupational therapist contributes to the entire team's effort and goals. Occupational therapist requirements include: A graduate of an accredited OT program Current NJ state OT license Experience in long-term-care settings preferred Equal opportunity employer.
