This role serves as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and the corporate team, while ensuring the community operates in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Core ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the apartment communityLead, coach, and supervise onsite team members, including leasing and maintenance staffDrive leasing performance, occupancy, and resident retentionManage resident relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues professionallyOversee rent collections, delinquencies, and lease enforcementMonitor expenses and financial performanceReview and approve invoices, and vendor contractsCoordinate closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely unit turns and property upkeepConduct daily property inspections to ensure curb appeal, safety, and quality standardsEnsure compliance with fair housing laws, local ordinances, and company policiesMaintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using property management softwareBuild positive relationships with vendors, clients, and ownership representativesRepresent the Company in a professional and customer-focused mannerPerform additional duties as assigned by Portfolio Manager All responsibilities are performed under the direction and approval of the assigned Portfolio Manager, and duties may be adjusted based on operational needs. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements3+ years of experience in multifamily property managementPrior experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager requiredStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of leasing, resident relations, budgeting, and financial reportingExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with property management softwareKnowledge of Washington landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing requirementsReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseAbility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed Candidates who do not meet every qualification but possess relevant experience and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
