Field Service Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the power and electrical industry, is seeking a Field Service Tech to join their team. As a Field Service Tech, you will be part of the Technical Support Division supporting field operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Field Service Tech Location: Jamaica, NY Pay Range: $28- $30 per hourShift: Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime hours What's the Job? Perform assigned repairs and modifications based on prepared work instructions Prepare work reports and documentation including equipment installation results and test outcomes Maintain modification tracking documentation and monitor equipment modification lists Manage repair and modification parts inventory and tools, reporting discrepancies or low stock levels Support and assist the Field Service Site Supervisor as needed What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of electrical and/or mechanical repair experience or equivalent Basic knowledge of AC, DC, Analog, and Digital signals and their measurements Proficiency in MS Office applications for report and analysis preparation Reliable transportation to meet work hours Ability to read and understand written and verbal work instructions, schematic, and assembly drawings What's in it for me?
