Tooling Inventory Specialist

Job Full Description Express client in Madison Heights, MI is seeking an Tooling ReGrind Program Manager. The following candidate will be responsible for all activities associated with managing the DDC Tooling ReGrind/Re-Mount Program. Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm Pay: $25/hr. Major Responsibilities: Staging of material for internal and external processing Maintaining required tooling stocking/circulation levels Shipping/Receiving and put away all incoming inventory Overseeing the following activities: Material Red Board Reviews, Sleeving, Scrapping. Generate and review daily/weekly/monthly reporting Cycle count and reconciliation Participate in daily morning mgmt meetings Escalate critical material discrepancies/ shortages Mgmt Work with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies (w/t internal Mgmt) Help coordinate product changes in coordination with Mgmt/Tooling Engineers Maintain 5S Standards in all work areas Position Requirements: HS graduate, some college preferred Working knowledge of MS office required Prior experience with Machining Cutting Tools preferred, not required Excellent interpersonal communication skills Inventory management experience required How to apply: If you are interested in this position, please complete an online application on our website and submit it to the Royal Oak, Michigan, location.
