Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Location: Greeley, COSchedule: Full-Time Three 12-hour shifts per weekClinic Hours: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM, 7 days per weekCompensation: $60 $80/hour (based on experience) + bonusBenefits: Full benefits package available for eligible full-time clinicians Position Overview NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our full-time clinical team in Greeley, Colorado.This opportunity is ideal for clinicians who enjoy autonomy, variety, and practicing in a fast-paced urgent care environment while maintaining strong work-life balance.A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is required.NextCare clinicians benefit from predictable scheduling, collaborative clinic teams, and accessible medical leadership. Our full-time schedules are designed so clinicians are off more days than they work, while still practicing engaging and meaningful medicine.Providers treat a broad patient population with generally low-to-moderate acuity conditions, allowing clinicians to utilize a wide range of diagnostic and procedural skills without inpatient responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR• Code and bill services appropriately• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications • Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care required• NP: Family Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC or AANP required)• PA: NCCPA certification required• Active DEA license or ability to obtain• Ability to treat patients of all ages• Active BLS certification• EHR proficiency• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Qualifications • Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience• Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care• Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation s largest urgent care providers, operating 160+ clinics across 11 states and delivering accessible, affordable, high-quality care to the communities we serve.Our culture is guided by our core values: Caring, Growth, Integrity, Results, and Teamwork.Clinicians choose NextCare for work-life balance, flexible scheduling, engaging clinical work, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
