Youll sit at the intersection of operations, finance, and growth, driving decisions that directly impact margins, service levels, and scalability. End-to-End Transportation Network Leadership Own domestic and international freight flows from origin through final delivery including outbound shipments to major retail and club customers and inbound freight from co-manufacturing partners into 3PL distribution centers. Design and continuously optimize the transportation network to balance customer pickup vs. delivered freight economics. Lead international freight strategy, ensuring service reliability while optimizing total landed cost as the business scales. ?? Cost, Service & Network Optimization Drive lane bid execution, carrier strategy, and contract performance to deliver best-in-class cost and service outcomes. Analyze freight market dynamics, inflationary pressures, and capacity trends translating insights into actionable mitigation strategies. Deliver quarterly freight cost analyses with clear recommendations to leadership. ?? Carrier, Broker & 3PL Performance Management Lead carrier selection, rate negotiations, and ongoing performance management across domestic and international partners. Partner closely with the 3PL Manager to optimize service, scalability, and cost efficiency across the distribution network. Hold partners accountable through KPI tracking, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives. ?? Cross-Functional Impact & Project Leadership Serve as the transportation subject-matter expert for Sales, Customer Logistics, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, IT, and Operations. Support high-priority logistics initiatives that improve service, reduce cost, and strengthen customer satisfaction. Guide routing, capacity planning, scheduling, and international documentation/compliance best practices. ?? Financial Ownership & Forecasting Own international freight and brokerage budgets, forecasting, auditing, and invoice approvals.
