Job Description Title: Project Engineer Location: East Hartford, CT Company: Cyient Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year Job Description Cyient is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support aerospace engineering programs in East Hartford, CT. This role will work closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), designers, and vendors to coordinate engineering deliverables, manage schedules, and support aerospace hardware builds and testing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Create and manage industrial-level project schedules. Provide schedule updates and reports for aerospace engineering gate reviews. Revise schedules and planning as needed to accommodate program changes. Attend regular meetings with IPT and CIPT leads to provide project status updates. Drive project deliverables to ensure on-time completion. Coordinate the ordering of hardware for aerospace engine builds and testing activities. Coordinate the shipment of hardware for aerospace engine builds and testing. Own export shipment planning and execution, including completion of all required export documentation. Work closely with vendors to monitor aerospace hardware manufacturing progress. Engineering degree preferred. If you'd like, I can also: Education Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as: Power Systems Automotive Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Aerospace Engineering Other STEM-related fields Preferred Experience & Skills (On-the-job training will be provided for proprietary software and internal processes.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint (redline creation) and Outlook. General computer proficiency (file navigation, link creation, and document management). Experience with Teamcenter, including creating tasks, releasing tasks, and completing workflow processes. Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or UG/NX. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints. Familiarity with P&W ESW applications. Experience with Pratt & Whitney Engineering Change (EC) processes. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities. Familiarity with jet engine components or aerospace systems. Knowledge of export compliance regulations, including EAR and ITAR. Complete Class I and Class II engineering changes in accordance with Pratt & Whitney's Engineering Change process. Execute Teamcenter workflows related to engineering changes. Track completion of action items and collaborate with IPT leads and designers to close tasks. Participate in, lead, or organize multi-disciplinary meetings involving Design, Structures, and Project teams.
