Job Details Location: Fort Worth, TX 76132 Setting: Inpatient Hospital Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Occupational Therapist) Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Shift: 8 Hour Days Estimated Weekly Pay: $1790-$1920 Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital Occupational Therapist experience (OT) Valid, current State Occupational Therapist license (Licensed Occupational Therapist) BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Strong commitment to patient and employee safety; experience working in interdisciplinary hospital teams Responsibilities Plan, organize, develop, and administer OT treatment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards Assess patients' level of functioning and implement appropriate occupational therapy interventions based on physician orders Participate in interdisciplinary team processes, discharge planning, and care coordination to support safe transitions Complete timely and accurate documentation following department policies and procedures Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), OT and COTA students, and assist with new staff orientation Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to facility guidelines and safety protocols Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members for optimal patient outcomes Apply now to join our Fort Worth healthcare team as a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT).
