Marketing Operations Specialist We are a relationship-driven growth company that leverages marketing systems to strengthen visibility, generate qualified leads, and support revenue growth. The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing the marketing technology systems that support CRM management, campaign automation, lead tracking, and pipeline visibility. This role ensures that marketing activities including campaigns, events, referrals, and digital outreach are captured, nurtured, segmented, and measured effectively. This is a systems-focused marketing role. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing automation workflows, maintaining CRM data integrity, building reports, and supporting marketing campaigns with measurable follow-up processes. You will work closely with Sales and leadership to ensure marketing efforts are structured, trackable, and aligned to revenue outcomes. CRM & Marketing Systems Management Manage and maintain CRM data integrity, segmentation, and list hygiene Build and optimize automated workflows for lead capture, scoring, routing, and nurture campaigns Support integration between CRM, marketing platforms, website forms, and sales tools Create and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into campaign performance and pipeline activity Assist in improving marketing-to-sales handoff processes to support lead conversion Track marketing touchpoints from first engagement through opportunity creation Campaign & Automation Execution Execute marketing automation campaigns to generate and nurture qualified leads Build segmented email nurture tracks aligned to audience and lifecycle stage Support referral and COI communication cadences through structured outreach workflows Assist in deploying paid, organic, and referral-based campaigns with measurable tracking Build and maintain landing pages, email campaigns, and performance tracking within marketing platforms Event & Follow-Up Systems Build pre-, during-, and post-event workflows to ensure proper lead capture and follow-up Ensure all campaigns and events are tracked within CRM for measurable outcomes Coordinate follow-up sequences to convert engagement into pipeline activity Report & Optimization Track lead source performance, engagement metrics, and conversion rates Prepare monthly reports on marketing performance and pipeline contribution Identify opportunities to improve workflows, segmentation, and automation efficiency Recommend system enhancements that improve visibility and scalability Who We're Looking For We are seeking a systems-minded, detail-oriented Marketing Operations professional who thrives behind the scenes building structure, automation, and measurable processes that drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable owning CRM integrity, workflow automation, reporting dashboards, and campaign tracking from end to end. This person enjoys creating order out of complexity, improving processes, and ensuring that marketing efforts are not just creative but structured, trackable, and optimized for performance. They are proactive, collaborative with Sales and leadership, and motivated by seeing data translate into real business impact. Education & Experience 25+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, CRM administration, or marketing automation Experience working in a B2B environment preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required) Technical Skills Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) Experience building and managing marketing automation workflows Strong understanding of lifecycle management, segmentation, and scoring Ability to create dashboards and reporting to measure campaign and pipeline performance Familiarity with email marketing platforms and landing page builders Experience integrating marketing platforms with sales tools and website forms Strong Excel / data analysis skills Core Competencies Detail-oriented with strong data integrity mindset Systems thinker who enjoys process optimization Analytical and comfortable interpreting marketing metrics Organized and capable of managing multiple campaigns and workflows simultaneously Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with Sales and leadership Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting marketing-to-sales handoff processes Experience in payroll, HR tech, SaaS, or B2B services Familiarity with attribution modeling and pipeline tracking Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. In rare instances the employee will be required to kneel, squat, climb a ladder and crawl. The lifting and carrying requirements of the job require the employee to frequently (34-66% of the time) lift and carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The incumbent will constantly work (more than 75% time on job) indoors in an office environment.
