Merchandise Planner Dtc Temporary to hire position with a leading footwear brand. Opportunity for an immediately available Merchandise Planner. Job Description Conduct weekly and monthly analysis of DTC & Wholesale performance, inventory health, and assortment effectiveness. Develop data-driven reports that highlight trends, opportunities, and recommendations to increase speed and profitability. Manage Product Life Cycle Inventory and SKU productivity metrics. Analyze sales data to uncover insights that drive revenue growth and faster decision-making. Track market trends and sell-in/sell-out data to influence demand strategy and buying decisions. Partner with Channel Planning to optimize inventory levels and align with consumer demand. Collaborate with Global Merchandising on assortment updates that drive performance. Recommend buying, inventory allocation, and speed-buy strategies each planning cycle. Identify process inefficiencies and propose continuous improvement initiatives. Stay ahead of industry standards in forecasting and inventory management. The Successful Applicant A successful Merchandise Planner, DTC should have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or related field (preferred). 2+ years' experience in data analysis, inventory planning, or forecasting (retail or accessories ideal). Strong analytical skills with Excel and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). Experience with forecasting systems & inventory management tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex insights clearly. Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple partners. Knowledge of market research and consumer behavior. What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate. 3-4 month contract with the potential to turn permanent. Based around Denver, CO.
