Supply Chain Analyst 1 The Supply Chain Analyst 1 at Safran Test Cells plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, cost control, and process optimization across the supply chain. This position is responsible for analyzing data, implementing best practices, and ensuring accurate inventory management to support production and customer delivery timelines. The role collaborates closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to standardize parts, improve forecasting, and enhance supplier performance, contributing to Safran's global supply chain excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Projects and Process Improvement: Overhaul Safran ID system for consistent description format and removal of duplicate IDs. Implement processes and tools to verify and track stock levels. Implement processes and tools to support regular cycle counts. Lead the implementation of mechanical Safran IDs. Coordinate with the Electrical Engineering team on parts standardization. Maintain new and existing inventory tools (catalog, master ID, ID checker, consumable list). Day-to-day Responsibilities: Forecasting to plan for future inventory needs. Creating requisitions, and/or ordering additional inventory when stocks are low. Addressing problems in supply and delivery. Tracking OTD. Inventory Management. Develop new Safran ID's when required. Participate in cycle counts. Supplier Development. Data input, preferred supplier, average price, etc. Additional Responsibilities: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material availability. Prepare reports on inventory performance and supplier metrics. Job Requirements: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or procurement within a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred. Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management tools. Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Knowledge of supply chain principles, forecasting, and supplier management. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. But What Else?
