HR Administrator We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to support the day-to-day HR operations at our location in Reno, NV. This role serves as the primary on-site HR support resource, assisting with recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll support, employee records, and general office administration. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR administrative support. Manage HR communications, documentation, and follow-ups to ensure processes are completed accurately and on time. Maintain organized employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality. Communicate regularly with employees, managers, and external partners regarding HR-related processes and updates. Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and pre-employment documentation. Support new hire onboarding by collecting required paperwork, coordinating training logistics, and assisting with benefits enrollment. Manage uniform ordering and distribution for employees. Coordinate offboarding processes including final payroll coordination, property retrieval, and exit documentation. Assist with payroll administration including timekeeping coordination and documentation for wage garnishments and income withholding orders. Support timecard accuracy and communicate payroll updates as needed. Maintain documentation related to pay changes, reimbursements, and attendance tracking. Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, payroll, policies, timekeeping, and leave. Escalate complex employee relations matters to the HR Business Partner. Respond to unemployment claims, employment verifications, and third-party requests. Assist with workers' compensation claims by gathering documentation, opening claims with carriers, and tracking claim status. Provide guidance to employees regarding leave processes and documentation requirements. Support benefits administration including new hire enrollment and open enrollment activities. Ensure workplace compliance materials and notices are posted and communicated appropriately. Assist with safety training and licensing requirements as needed. Support daily office administrative operations. Coordinate with vendors providing employee services such as uniforms, screenings, or benefits administration. Manage office calendars, internal communications, and employee recognition announcements. What You Bring 24 years of HR or HR administrative experience. Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred). Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience a plus). Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality. Education High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus Experience in a position with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information. Prior experience in multi-site or distributed employee environments is a plus. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate with others. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. May occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment Primarily operates in a professional office environment. Regular use of standard office equipment including computers, phones, printers, and copiers. Workspace is generally clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled with typical office noise levels.
