Senior Project Manager Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support enterprise technology initiatives. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of managing complex IT projects within a hybrid Agile and traditional project management environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently while coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams. This is an onsite position with standard weekday hours and occasional flexibility based on project requirements. The selected candidate will manage projects that may have enterprise-wide impact and may also perform business analysis responsibilities when needed. Key Responsibilities The Senior Project Manager will oversee IT projects and collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams. Primary responsibilities include: Manage projects using hybrid Agile and traditional project management methodologies Communicate project goals, timelines, and deliverables to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership Manage and prioritize the product backlog Coordinate and participate in release planning activities Develop, maintain, and manage project documentation and deliverables Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning sessions, and status updates Track and document risks, issues, assumptions, and key decisions Maintain project documentation repositories Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to ensure consistent communication and processes Ensure compliance with project reporting and documentation standards Perform additional project management or business analysis tasks as required Education and Certifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) Current Agile certification, such as: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) PMI-ACP SAFe Scaled Agile Disciplined Agile (DaD) Or equivalent Agile certification Required Experience Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Information Systems, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline Experience managing project timelines, product roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and Agile artifacts Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools Experience managing medium to large cross-functional technology projects Preferred Experience Experience with SharePoint 365 Experience in business analysis or systems analysis Experience presenting, training, or communicating complex information to large groups Experience working within large enterprise or government environments Key Skills and Competencies Project Management Experience applying Agile and traditional hybrid project management practices Product backlog management and sprint planning Knowledge of PMBOK-aligned project management principles Experience with risk identification, assessment, and mitigation Ability to coordinate projects, vendors, and resources across multiple initiatives Ability to prioritize work and manage competing deadlines Business and Technical Analysis Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes Ability to document business requirements, processes, and workflows Ability to analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities Ability to evaluate system outputs and troubleshoot issues Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Technical Tools Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools Microsoft Office Suite: Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Project Professional Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
