Software Quality Assurance Manager - Automation

About the Role: As the Software Quality Assurance Manager (Automation), you will lead a dedicated team of QA professionals committed to ensuring the highest quality of our software products. This pivotal role involves crafting innovative test strategies, directing the execution of test plans, and promoting a quality-driven culture within our department, ultimately contributing to the delivery of reliable software solutions for our customers. This is a hybrid position where we come together eight days a month in the nearest office (USA) within 50 miles, to enhance collaboration and build relationships with colleagues. You will report to the Associate Director of Software Quality Assurance and work alongside the Director of Product Software Engineering. Please refer to the office location directory for potential office preferences nationwide. Required Qualifications: Proficient team leadership and management skills. Focus on automation and proven abilities in leading automation initiatives. Strong experience with JavaScript, Playwright, and Cucumber or a similar framework. Expertise in API testing. Understanding of agentic AI agent testing. Familiarity with autonomous testing tools and willingness to implement AI tools in QA automation. Knowledge of the SAFe framework. Experience with Oracle or similar relational databases and proficiency in SQL. Competency in Linux environments. Experience using Jira and Confluence. Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to develop and execute effective test strategies. Familiarity with quality metrics and monitoring. Experience in setting up and maintaining automation frameworks. Basic project management skills for overseeing multiple testing projects. Analytical mindset for interpreting test results and making data-driven decisions. Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals. Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies. Oversee both automated and manual testing processes. Ensure timely identification and resolution of defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality. Define and track quality metrics and key performance indicators. Conduct performance reviews and promote career development opportunities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management. Compensation: The salary range for this role is $89,600.00 - $157,000.00 USD, and it is eligible for bonus opportunities.
