This role provides the opportunity to deliver speech and language therapy services that support students’ academic access, communication development, and participation within the school environment. The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop and monitor IEP goals, deliver direct and consultative services, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. This position offers a stable full-school-year schedule with strong district support. AMN Healthcare provides competitive compensation, dedicated recruiter guidance, and 24/7 assistance through the AMN Passport app. Required Qualifications Speech Language Pathologist – School Required Skills: School experience License: Active Virginia SLP license (VA LIC) Certifications: ASHA CCCs required Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Completion of a criminal record and background check Preferred Qualifications Previous school-based SLP experience Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to interpret and explain evaluation results to educators and families Experience participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration Shift & Hours Monday–Friday 35 hours per week Candidate will only be paid for hours worked.
