You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and lead a daily crew effectively. This benefit-eligible position offers a competitive compensation range of $26.00 - $32.00/hr. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Conduct year-round mechanical and electrical maintenance on various tramways. Maintain accurate records including daily operational checks, work orders, and parts inventory. Train lift operators and maintenance staff. Complete daily tasks assigned by the Lift Maintenance Supervisor. Identify parts and services needed. Assist with lift construction projects. Read and interpret service books, prints, and drawings. Troubleshoot various lift issues effectively. Utilize safe rigging techniques. Drive vehicles of all types. Keep a clean and safe work environment adhering to OSHA guidelines. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions. Stay updated with new technical information and maintenance techniques. Plan and predict upcoming maintenance needs. Assist with state inspections. Attend service schools and trainings. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments. Perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of Vermont Tramway School level 1 & 2. 4-6+ years of experience in lift maintenance. Licenses must be valid in the country or state where employed. Valid driver’s license. Experience with heavy equipment, vehicles, machine shop, and power tools. Ability to lift 60 lbs. unassisted. Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions. Willingness to learn and teach others. Strong communication skills are essential. Able to multitask and stay organized. This role may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
