Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of innovative AI and ML solutions throughout the organization. Collaborate effectively under fast-paced conditions while assessing and addressing ambiguous challenges. Serve as a technical translator, making complex concepts accessible to all levels of technical proficiency. Stay at the forefront of AI technology developments, ensuring their applicability for production environments. Create and promote playbooks, best practices, and lessons learned to enhance our intellectual capital. Specific Duties Include: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models aligned with business goals. Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to integrate models into scalable production environments. Utilize programming languages such as Python and R to develop data pipelines and automate workflows. Apply statistical knowledge to enhance model accuracy and reliability. Work with large language models (LLMs) and integrate APIs effectively. Implement MLOps practices for continuous model training and deployment. Evaluate emerging AI tools and methodologies to boost system performance. Document and support system designs and model processes for transparency and reproducibility. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 7 years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference for degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields. 10+ years of software engineering experience, proficient in one or more programming languages, including Java, Python, or R. Experience in data mining, machine learning, and deep learning for at least 2 years. Hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and related frameworks. Familiarity with LLM platforms like ChatGPT or Gemini and knowledge of OpenAI API integration. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in teams. Potential for federal background investigation clearance.
