Export Compliance Administrator A growing aerospace and advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a Export Compliance Administrator to bolster our export compliance operations in a highly regulated environment. This position is perfect for detail-oriented professionals who possess a solid understanding of U.S. export regulations and customs processes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee export compliance activities in alignment with EAR, ITAR, U.S. Customs, and OFAC regulations Classify products, components, and technical data according to applicable export control regulations Prepare and review export documentation including commercial invoices, EEI/SED filings, bills of lading, and certificates of origin Coordinate export license applications while ensuring compliance with license conditions Conduct restricted party screenings and maintain accurate audit-ready records Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, contracts, and program teams to ensure compliant shipments Assist with internal and external compliance audits Maintain records in accordance with regulatory retention requirements Provide internal guidance and training on trade compliance matters Identify and mitigate compliance risks proactively Required Qualifications: Export Customs Specialist Certificate or Export Specialist Certificate (required) 3-7 years of experience in export/trade compliance within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing Strong working knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations Experience with ERP systems and export compliance software Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting defense contracts or handling controlled technical data Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications Background in supporting government audits or voluntary disclosures Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field Certified Export Specialist credential If you're interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity, please apply today or reach out directly for more information.
