Senior Application Developer II

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Developer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and knowledge of internal policies to tackle complex challenges creatively and effectively. You will be responsible for managing complex assignments and will need to exercise significant initiative and independent judgment to identify the best course of action in line with our goals. Your assignments will extend to new technologies and business processes, ensuring minimal reliance on management. What You'll Do: Communicate effectively with business representatives to understand their needs. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for application development. Develop readable, reliable, and maintainable code across various languages and platforms. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Conduct unit and system testing using approved test plans and scripts. Review test outcomes with the business and adjust deliverables as necessary. Quickly identify and resolve coding errors with a proactive approach. Documentation and approval management for production environment migrations. Record project time and status accurately for billing purposes. Address production issues promptly, participating in the on-call rotation to support systems and enhance uptime. Engage in Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes, ensuring collaboration and effective communication while adhering to Agile principles. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related technical field from an accredited institution. Four to six years of experience in application development with strong proficiency in JavaScript, UI Design, HTML, CSS, REST, XML, and JSON. Additional Qualifications: A minimum of four years of experience, preferably in a similar industry. Experience with BPM tools such as IBM Business Process Manager and IBM Business Automation Workflow. Knowledge of process mapping, modeling, and visualization techniques. Familiarity with business process standards. History of working directly with clients as a technical consultant. Proven ability to collaborate across various departments to develop robust business solutions. Thorough understanding of software fundamentals and best practices. The base salary range is $98.4k - $118.6k. Compensation is based on experience. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package.
