About the RoleWe are hiring a VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC on AWS) SDDC Subject Matter Expert for one of our premium clients.This is a hands-on role focused on architecture, deployment, operations, and advanced troubleshooting across VMware hybrid cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on VMC on AWS integrations.You will work closely with cloud, network, and security teams to deliver stable, scalable, and secure VMware hybrid cloud solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) SDDC environmentsImplement NSX-T (micro-segmentation, DFW, Tier-0/Tier-1 routing, load balancingPlan and execute HCX migrations (bulk, vMotion, RAV, cold migration)Integrate on-prem VMware with AWS services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle enhancements across the VMware stackProvide expert troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for:vSphere / ESXi / vCentervSANNSX-THCXvRealize Suite (vRA, vROps, vRLI)SRM and replication technologiesMonitor and optimize performance, capacity, and availabilityCreate documentation, runbooks, and best practicesSupport architectural reviews and cloud transformation initiativesRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC)Expert knowledge of vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vMotionDeep hands-on expertise in NSX-T:DFW, micro-segTier-0 / Tier-1 routingNAT, VPNBGP/OSPFStrong experience with HCX migration technologiesStrong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, NAT, BGP, OSPF)Advanced troubleshooting and RCA experience across VMware componentsPreferredAzure VMware Solution (AVS)VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)vRealize Suite (vRA, vROps, vRLISite Recovery Manager (SRM) / Disaster RecoveryVMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX)Job Location Onsite-Franklin, TN
