Senior Technical Consultant - Distributed Systems

Key Responsibilities Define specifications for high-impact projects and design, develop, and deploy software based on those requirements within our security platform. Lead and innovate in the development of new products and services, often at the forefront of technology trends. Propose and implement significant enhancements to existing products and processes. Be responsible for designing and constructing scalable, distributed, and resilient software components to support our healthcare platform and users. Guide operations teams with strategic oversight, taking ownership of the entire software development lifecycle from architecture to production. Mentor and empower fellow engineers, emphasizing a culture of ownership and long-term thinking. Must-Have Qualifications: 10+ years of experience developing and delivering enterprise-level distributed and/or cloud-native systems. Strong understanding of system design principles and best practices in distributed systems architecture. Hands-on experience operating large-scale systems and troubleshooting complex challenges. Proficient in coding with Java, Python, or similar object-oriented programming languages. In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and design patterns. A systematic problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and a solid sense of ownership and initiative. Ability to influence and shape system architecture effectively.
