Job Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Field Marketing Specialist to lead the development and execution of impactful marketing strategies targeting the Public Sector, specifically within State and Local Government entities. This role is essential for strengthening brand visibility, driving pipeline growth, and supporting sales initiatives in this highly regulated industry. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach, adeptly navigating the intricacies of government contracting while fostering strong relationships with the Oracle North America tech and apps sales teams through tailored, compliant marketing initiatives. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, with considerable expertise in public sector or regulated industries. Demonstrated success in generating demand, growing pipelines, and facilitating sales enablement. Deep understanding of public sector buying cycles, compliance standards, and identification of key decision-makers. Exceptional project management, communication, and collaboration abilities. Proven capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and corporate marketing. Data-driven mindset, with experience in tracking KPIs and analyzing campaign performance. Responsibilities: Engage with sales leadership to create a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with pipeline and revenue objectives. Participate in regular meetings discussing pipeline and sales forecasts. Design and execute tactical marketing programs alongside Sales, Industry Advisory Services, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, and external partners such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provide on-site support for marketing initiatives. Oversee lead flow to ensure timely follow-up by appropriate sales channels for event attendees and campaign responders. Manage the program budget and measure ROI through detailed metrics analysis and reporting. Keep stakeholders informed on program status, action items, and deliverables across the Field Marketing team and Sales. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Craft and implement integrated field marketing plans aligned with sales goals and overarching corporate marketing strategies for the public sector. Demand Generation: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (events, webinars, digital programs, targeted ABM) to generate high-quality leads and accelerate pipeline development. Event Management: Organize, manage, and execute Oracle's presence at key industry trade shows, conferences, regional events, and executive briefings tailored for public sector audiences. Sales Partnership & Enablement: Serve as the primary marketing contact for the public sector sales team, understanding their requirements, providing relevant materials and tools, and ensuring smooth lead transitions and follow-ups. Content Collaboration: Identify content needs and work with industry advisory teams to develop public sector-specific resources (case studies, white papers, solution briefs, capabilities statements). Budget & ROI: Effectively manage the marketing budget for the public sector, ensuring efficient resource allocation and tracking of ROI for all activities. Market Insights: Maintain an in-depth understanding of public sector trends, procurement procedures, regulatory requirements (such as FAR), and challenges to inform marketing strategies and messaging. Salary and Benefits Information: US Hiring Range: $87,000 to $178,100 per year. Eligibility for bonus and equity may apply.
