Senior Project Manager - ERP Product Implementations

Job Description We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver Professional Services implementations of NetSuite for Wholesale Distributors, Retailers, and Manufacturers. Utilizing NetSuite's SuiteSuccess Methodology, you will ensure that projects are executed according to scope, time, and budget, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. As a crucial member of the team, you will oversee the planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects in a matrix environment. From project initiation to completion, you will manage customer-specific engagements, facilitate the business requirements development process, track progress, and resolve any roadblocks that arise. Key deliverables such as Project Kickoffs, Project Plans, and risk reports will be part of your responsibility, as will setting and managing customer expectations regarding project scope, delivery model, roles and responsibilities, timelines, and change management. Preferred Qualifications include: Extensive experience in Project Management, particularly with full lifecycle ERP solutions or similar software implementations. Cloud platform expertise is highly desirable, particularly with NetSuite. At least 7 years of relevant experience in a software vendor or professional services environment. Previous NetSuite ERP implementation experience is preferred, along with: Strong skills in client management and the ability to juggle multiple customer implementations. Experience in translating customer business requirements into effective software solutions. Collaboration with Sales, Account Management, and Executive stakeholders. Domain expertise in Distribution products. Proficiency in developing work breakdown structures and project plans, preferably with Microsoft Project. An understanding of standard industry practices in Accounting, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, and Sales Management. Formal training in Project Management methodologies, with certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP) being a plus. The willingness to travel occasionally as needed. Key Responsibilities: Plan and communicate project progress to ensure timely achievement of project milestones. Facilitate the resolution of issues and obstacles that may arise during projects. Support pre-sales activities. Effectively communicate the Oracle NetSuite Methodology to current and prospective clients.
