Supply Chain Planning ManagerPrimary Function: The Manager position will be responsible for leading a team that is responsible for gathering assumptions and data sets across multiple clients and functions to developing & produce inventory readouts, future inventory forecasts & E&O risks for the Asurion Supply Chain organization. The position will also work to understand our inventory performance, outlook, and work to mitigate E&O risk by proactively identifying opportunities to maximize inventory utilization across the network. This will include assembling and making recommendations for potential liquidation efforts. The Manager position will lead and guide the team in the short and long-term direction for plans to drive profitability through increased utilization of remanufactured equipment, while ensuring product availability for claims fulfillment. Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for developing & leading a team of Sr Analyst/Analyst employees by establishing a High Performing Team environment, with continual coaching and feedback to employees.Responsible for assembling data, analyzing, and assembling executive level presentations on inventory performance across multiple clients and business units, while understanding future forecast/inventory outlook for the next ~12 monthsAnalyzes Excess and Obsolescence outlook, providing financial reserve recommendations and liquidation recommendationsAbility to identify, understand and communicate Month over Month changes cross functionallyIdentify and recommend opportunities to reduce inventory position across the Asurion network and increase inventory utilizationHelp Sr. analyst as needed analyze and provide weekly readout/outlook on reman performance vs. planRecommend and coordinate continuous improvement opportunities within the Planning Shared Services departmentCoordinate cross functional liquidation efforts to ensure successful outcomeCoordinate cross functionally with various groups on strategic decisions related to inventory, E&O & reman performanceProfessional Competencies:Lead and develop a team of Sr. Analyst and Analyst employees with a focus on professional knowledge and personal/career development at Asurion.Very detail-oriented, able to identify anomalies and errors in data, and to capture trends to apply to planning modelsAble to assess a variety of information, draw similarities, identify differences, and compile actionable recommendationsExceptional financial and analytical skills, including deep knowledge of spreadsheets and databasesIntellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguityStrong ability to move between tactical and strategic aspects of businessProven ability to set direction, clearly articulate a strong point of view and influence others.Knowledge of Asurion operations highly preferredHigh energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth environmentAble to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAble to work cross functionally with multiple groupsStrong interpersonal skillsAble to coach and mentor othersQualifications:3-5 years of related supply chain experience, preferably in planning or in a finance environmentB.A. or B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related field or equivalent experience - APICS certified preferredExcellent communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skillsFamiliar with various business software programs with a strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office especially ExcelExperienced working on high performing teamsExperienced working cross functionally with multiple groupsDemonstrated the ability to drive best practice' at continuous improvement, with a track record of driving results
