Electrical Estimator (Junior, Mid-Level, Senior)Hybrid (not remote) | Waterbury, CT (Relocation Assistance Available)A highly respected electrical construction contractor in Hartford County, CT is seeking Junior, Mid-level, and Senior Electrical Estimators to support continued growth across commercial and healthcare projects, including mission-critical hospital systems. This is a hybrid opportunity offering strong compensation, long-term stability, and clear advancement potential.Position OverviewThis role supports the estimating and preconstruction process for electrical construction projects. Candidates will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and supporting bid submissions. Senior-level candidates will also provide leadership and oversight within the estimating team.Jr to Mid- Level ResponsibilitiesPrepare electrical takeoffs, detailed estimates, and bid documentationAssist with pre-bid reviews, scope clarification, and bid submissionsCoordinate vendor and subcontractor pricingRespond to RFIs and support preconstruction effortsReview drawings and specifications to identify scope, risks, and cost impactsConduct job site visits as needed to confirm scope, materials, and constructabilityMaintain accurate documentation and follow-up throughout the bid processSenior-Level Responsibilities (as applicable):Review and approve estimates prior to submissionIdentify risk, scope gaps, and pricing exposureProvide guidance and mentorship to junior estimatorsSupport client, vendor, and subcontractor relationship managementQualificationsCommercial electrical estimating experience - open to Industrial backgroundsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple estimates and deadlinesEffective communication and follow-up skillsExperience with estimating software and Excel preferredCompensationJunior / Mid-Level Estimators: up to $120,000 (DOE)Senior Estimators: Up to $175,000 (DOE)Relocation assistance available if applicableBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceAnnual profit sharingFour weeks of paid time off401(k) retirement planThis is an opportunity to build a long-term career within a growing electrical construction organization that values accuracy, accountability, and professional development.
