Job Description: Position Details: Annual Pay: Approximately $75,000 Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, starting between 4-6 pm Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 based on experience! Position Purpose: As a Shuttle Driver, you will be integral to our operations by transporting empty trailers to warehouses and delivering full trailers to designated shuttle yard locations. Your role will ensure all operations comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and contribute to our commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive safety checks on your vehicle and trailer in compliance with DOT regulations. Report any safety issues or required repairs promptly. Adhere to all DOT regulations and company driving policies, reporting any hazards immediately. Inspect trailers to ensure loads are secured properly. Ensure all necessary route paperwork is on-hand upon dispatch. Drive and deliver trailers according to the established schedule. Follow safe hook/unhook procedures. Park and store trailers in designated areas safely. Ensure all equipment and freight are secured at all times. Collect damaged goods and customer returns for processing. Unload equipment and maintain cleanliness in the trailers. Document hours of service and maintain logs per federal and state regulations. Maintain cleanliness in your vehicle and loading area. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should have: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. At least 12 months of commercial driving experience. Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement. You must be at least 21 years old. A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years. Availability for a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday to Thursday nights. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and road test. A current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one. Physical ability to lift and move product cases weighing between 60 and 90 pounds as required.
