Job Summary: As a Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering compassionate pharmacy services to patients. You will guide and educate them on medication usage and interactions while offering essential healthcare services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing. Your responsibilities will include verifying and dispensing medications accurately while adhering to regulatory guidelines. You'll lead an efficient pharmacy workflow, enhance financial performance, manage inventory effectively, and elevate the overall patient experience. Additionally, you will oversee the development and performance of pharmacy staff through training and coaching initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Patient Engagement: Greet patients warmly, offering assistance, and resolving any issues swiftly to ensure a positive experience. Share best practices with the team to create a welcoming environment and proactively suggest services that enhance patient care. Pharmacy Operations: Counsel patients on medication usage, answer questions about side effects, and manage prescription dispensing. Ensure compliance with regulations and streamline pharmacy workflows to enhance efficiency. Staff Management: Collaborate with store leadership in hiring and training pharmacy staff. Monitor team performance and recognize achievements to maintain high morale and operational efficiency. Training & Development: Maintain professional credentials and actively pursue ongoing education to stay ahead in pharmacy practices and standards. Business Management: Analyze data on pharmacy performance, including financial metrics and inventory levels, to identify trends and areas for improvement. Build strong relationships within the local medical community to promote pharmacy services. Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution is required, along with current pharmacist licensure. A minimum of one year of pharmacy experience is necessary, and candidates should be willing to become certified immunizers within 90 days of hire.
