About the Role The Associate Vice President of Business Development will serve as a senior commercial leader responsible for driving global growth for ETS Solutions and our broader workforce credentialing portfolio. This role entails leading expansion into key global markets, identifying cross-functional opportunities, and managing strategic pursuits in certification and licensing. The AVP will actively engage in selling while also providing strategic leadership. This includes managing pipeline creation, market development, and go-to-market strategies, with regular travel for client meetings and industry events required. Role Responsibilities Global Growth Strategy Lead market development for ETS Solutions and workforce credentialing globally. Shape and execute long-term growth strategies for priority regions. Identify cross-functional opportunities within ETS and PSI. Business Development Leadership Build and lead a high-performing global business development team. Establish forecasting disciplines and track opportunity progression. Personally lead major sales pursuits and RFPs. Cross Enterprise Collaboration Collaborate with revenue owners across various functions including Licensure and Certification. Work closely with Solutions, Bids, and Implementation to create compelling proposals. Support marketing efforts for demand generation and increasing sector visibility. Market and Sector Expertise Possess deep knowledge in certification, licensure, and Federal certification procurement. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, risk models, and regulatory trends. Represent ETS Solutions at industry events. Commercial Execution Own the achievement of global new business revenue targets. Lead contract negotiations with CRO and Legal teams. Ensure a smooth transition to Client Success teams post-contract. KPIs and Performance Expectations Core KPIs Achievement of new business revenue and annual targets. Maintain pipeline quality with coverage at 3x to 4x targets. Accurate forecasting and robust deal health assessments. High win rate for strategic pursuits. Productivity metrics including revenue per seller. Quality of contract margins and terms. Contribute to cross-sell initiatives within ETS and PSI. Effectiveness of go-to-market execution. Leadership KPIs Foster a high-performance culture in business development. Support coaching, development, and retention of BD personnel. Enhance collaboration with revenue owners and support teams. Contribute to the development of global growth strategies. Revenue Leadership Council Responsibilities The Associate Vice President of Business Development will participate actively in the Revenue Leadership Council (RLC), with responsibilities including: Regularly attending RLC sessions and reporting on results. Presenting on pipeline, forecasts, and growth strategies. Identifying opportunities and risks for consideration. Contributing to KPI reviews and revenue governance. Aligning divisional strategies to create an enterprise-wide growth perspective. Assisting in CEO and CFO reporting through the Revenue Office. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements Proven experience in the certification, licensure, and Federal certification markets. Expertise in complex sales cycles and government procurement. Demonstrated success in delivering multi-million revenue growth. Strong background in leading business development or sales teams. Experience with credentialing bodies, regulators, and workforce standards agencies. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
