Job Description Oracle's Data Center Organization is excited to welcome a Senior Program Manager specializing in Project Controls to our dynamic team. As we expand our data center footprint, we are dedicated to refining our project management processes to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our project tracking and control capabilities. The Senior Program Manager will take on a pivotal role in establishing a robust Project Controls function. This involves monitoring and managing various facets of data center projects, including cost, schedule, risk, and performance. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and strong program management experience, particularly with project control tools and methodologies. Responsibilities: Systems Ownership & Governance Oversee the governance of Project Controls systems, including Primavera Cloud and Oracle Unifier. Configure systems to uphold global standards for schedule, cost, change, forecasting, reporting, and controls. Act as a business system owner, responsible for system configuration, usage standards, and lifecycle management. Develop decision rights, approval hierarchies, and change-control processes for system and AI-related enhancements. Maintain system integrity by prioritizing requirements and evaluating requests for their value and risk. Process Improvements Analyze current data center construction processes to uncover gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Lead the creation and implementation of standardized workflows, templates, and best practices across various programs and regions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives centered around schedule predictability, cost control, risk management, and change management. Collaborate with Project Controls to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting consistency, and KPI adherence. Facilitate workshops to capture insights and transform them into actionable process improvements. Support the adoption of new tools, systems, and processes within delivery teams. Track and report the measurable outcomes of process improvements, including time savings and cost avoidance. Ensure compliance with governance and enterprise standards while allowing for flexibility in regional execution. Data Quality, Reporting & Controls Accountability Analyze and support the quality and consistency of schedule, cost, and forecast data across all systems and AI outputs. Ensure that CAPEX/OPEX cost reporting meets accuracy, auditability, and aligns with executive expectations. Support global reporting related to the data-center fleet and specific fit-out programs. Set up validation rules, data controls, and exception management processes for both traditional and AI-generated reports. Stakeholder Management Deliver clarity, discipline, and reliable insights to senior leadership. Manage competing global priorities while ensuring governance and data integrity. Effectively communicate complex system and AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Requirements: Minimum of 8 years' experience in project controls or a related Project Management field. Proficiency in float management, critical path method (CPM), and sequencing logic is required. Exceptional communication skills to distill complex data into clear updates for stakeholders. Solid understanding of project management principles including cost, schedule, risk, and change management. Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to align project control efforts effectively. Experience in creating and analyzing project KPIs and comprehensive performance reports. Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to interpret and convey insights effectively. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is required. Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience within data centers, high-tech infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities is strongly preferred. Proven ability to identify and implement process enhancements for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in project controls. PMP or other project management certifications are advantageous. Salary Range: The annual salary for this position ranges from $78,000 to $158,200 and may include bonus and equity.
