Job Description: Position Details: Training Pay: Guaranteed $1,500/week. After training: Average $100,000 Annually Flexible schedule offering! Delivering our products on time and in excellent condition, they are also the face of our company, creating lasting relationships with customers! The CDL-A Driver is accountable for operating a tractor trailer or straight truck for intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery and unloading of food and related products in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Primary Responsibilities: Engage professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring accurate and timely communication. Act as a team member within the department, fulfilling duties as required to support the company. Conduct required safety inspections (pre/post trip) of the tractor/truck and trailer, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Report all safety concerns and necessary repairs. Adhere to all DOT regulations and safe driving guidelines established by the company. Promptly report safety hazards and ensure correct loading and securing of freight. Verify and check customer invoices against loaded items. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork related to freight. Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the established route schedule. Unload products and transport them into designated storage areas at customer locations. Perform damage control checks and collaborate with supervisors on order removals as per company policy. Verify delivery with customers and secure necessary signatures. Collect payments (cash or checks) as required, while ensuring all freight and equipment are secure during transport. Manage the unloading of damaged goods and customer returns, completing required paperwork. Maintain daily records of service hours in compliance with Federal DOT and company requirements. Conduct general housekeeping duties in the truck and loading areas, ensuring cleanliness. Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at the end of shifts. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED 12+ months of commercial driving experience Valid CDL-A license Must be at least 21 years old Compliance with all State licensing and certification requirements (if applicable) Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the last 3 years Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check Successful completion of a road test Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one Physically able to lift and utilize equipment to move product cases of varying sizes and weights throughout the shift, typically ranging from 10-35 pounds up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
