Embark on a Career as a Vehicle Security System Installer Trainee! This is a nonexempt hourly position reporting to the Operations Manager. If you are passionate about cars and enjoy hands-on work, this is your opportunity to kickstart a rewarding career as an Alarm Technician. We offer comprehensive training in installing vehicle alarm systems and GPS tracking units, providing you with essential skills to excel in this dynamic field. Key Responsibilities: Install auto alarms and GPS tracking units. Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs. Deliver outstanding customer service to our dealer clients and their customers. Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments. Preferred Skills and Experience: Eager to learn and adaptable to change. Detail-oriented with a flexible approach. Effective team player with the ability to work independently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Manual dexterity and proficiency in using hand power tools. Experience in 12-Volt or audio/video installation is a plus but not required. Qualifications and Requirements: Valid driver's license is mandatory. If selected for this position, you will undergo a pre-hire process including: A criminal background check. A review of your motor vehicle report. A physical abilities evaluation. Verification of your identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hiring. Work Environment: Work primarily on dealership lots. Full-time hours: Monday - Friday; 8 AM to 5 PM.
