Lead AI Engineer

Job Description The Customer Success Services team is seeking a talented AI Engineer to revolutionize our approach to generative AI and agent solutions for Oracle applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, configure, evaluate, monitor, and optimize AI solutions that will significantly enhance our team's operational capabilities and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will establish processes, tools, and tests allowing our team to assess and improve AI responses in customer environments at scale. You will play a pivotal role in developing new monetizable services to create revenue streams based on testing, evaluation, monitoring, and auditing generative AI functions such as authoring, summarization, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows. Strong collaboration with various business lines will be essential for success in this role. We prefer candidates who are near Pleasanton, CA, but we will also consider remote applicants within the US. Responsibilities Evaluate and refine generative AI solutions (including Retrieval-Augmented Generation and agents). Conduct analysis and reporting on AI quality and business impact, ensuring thorough audits (e.g., bias, prompt injection, guardrails) for our customers. Develop innovative methods and tools to assess, enhance, and measure the success of Oracle AI solutions. Create custom AI solutions aimed at optimizing business operations and generating efficiencies. Explore opportunities to monetize AI capabilities as managed services. Support the internal adoption and standardization of generative AI code assist tools. Collaborate with the Oracle AI Review (OAR) Board and Corporate Security Solution Assurance Process team to uphold AI and security governance standards. The position offers a hiring range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
