The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Appian application development, strong experience building scalable solutions on AWS, and a solid understanding of mortgage industry processes (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac exposure highly preferred).This is an in-person roleThis role will play a key part in building robust, automated, and compliant business process solutions that integrate with enterprise data platforms and cloud-based services.Qualifications:6+ years of hands-on experience in Appian application developmentDeep expertise in the Appian platform, including SAIL interfaces, process models, record types, expression rules, and integrationsStrong understanding of business process modeling (BPM) and workflow automationProven experience designing and implementing end-to-end enterprise workflow solutionsSolid knowledge of SQL and data modeling, including relational schema design and enterprise database integrationHands-on experience with API integrations, including REST/SOAP services and secure integration patterns between Appian and external systemsWorking knowledge of Java, with the ability to support custom integrations, plug-ins, or backend services when requiredExperience working within AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.)Experience in mortgage or financial services domains, preferably supporting Freddie Mac programs or platformsFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsResponsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Appian-based business process management (BPM) applications supporting mortgage operationsTranslate business requirements into scalable Appian workflows, rules, and user interfacesBuild and optimize SAIL interfaces, process models, expression rules, and integration
