We are seeking talented AI Developers to play a crucial role in this exciting initiative. In this position, you will spearhead the design and development of sophisticated AI applications that leverage AI models. You will automate, optimize, and enhance network functionalities, working on self-provisioning, auto-ingestion, auto-qualification systems, and self-healing networks. Your expertise in Python, ML frameworks, AI model training, and networking fundamentals will be vital in this role, which is integral to the success of our innovative projects. Responsibilities As a Lead AI Software Developer, you will build and refine large-scale AI systems, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for the development and deployment of groundbreaking AI solutions. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are critical. Design and implement scalable orchestration for serving and training AI/ML models. Incorporate the latest research on AI, intelligent agents, and inference systems into our software stack to streamline network design, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Evaluate and optimize technologies for latency, throughput, and resource utilization across the stack for training and inference workloads. Lead initiatives in AI systems design, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLM fine-tuning. Develop scalable services and tools to support GPU-accelerated AI pipelines using Python/Go and observability frameworks. Required/Preferred Experience: Strong expertise in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow). Experience with LLMs, embeddings, vector search, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuning. Data engineering skills: Spark, Kafka, Flink, OCI Streaming/Data Flow. Familiarity with distributed systems and large-scale training/inference. Experience handling network telemetry (e.g., NetFlow, packet captures, streaming telemetry). Knowledge of network automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, NAPALM; Batfish is a plus). Experience with containerization, model serving, GPU workflows, CI/CD, and MLOps tools. Proven ability to write design documents, define features, and manage delivery from start to finish. Education and Experience: BSEE, BSCS, BSCE, or equivalent is required; MSEE, MSCS, or MSCE is a plus. At least 7+ years of experience in building software systems and AI applications, including training models. The US hiring range for this role is $96,800 to $223,400 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
