Functional Architect, Oracle Subscription Management

Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Functional Architect specializing in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud! We are looking for a talented and client-focused professional with extensive expertise in Oracle Subscription Management. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving client engagements, leading workshops, analyzing business needs, and crafting innovative solutions that harness the full power of Oracle Subscription Management. Responsibilities Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis: Conduct engaging workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to subscription lifecycle management, including product catalogs, pricing, billing, and renewal processes. Solution Design & Configuration: Transform business requirements into functional design documents. Architect and configure the Oracle Subscription Management Cloud application to cater to client needs, ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Advisory & Strategy: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and primary contact for clients, offering guidance on leading subscription business models and optimizing their use of the Oracle Cloud platform. Implementation Leadership: Lead the technical team in developing customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Oversee system testing, UAT, and go-live activities. Sales & Presales Support: Support presales efforts by preparing proposals, statements of work, and delivering compelling product demonstrations for potential clients. Mentorship: Provide mentorship to junior functional consultants, fostering their growth and expertise in Oracle Subscription Management. Qualifications Experience: At least 15 years of experience with Oracle applications, with a minimum of 5 years focusing on Oracle Subscription Management Cloud implementation and configuration. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of key subscription management processes, including: Product Catalogs and Services Pricing and Rating Models Billing and Invoicing Renewals and Cancellations Revenue Recognition Client Skills: Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively, facilitate engaging workshops, and communicate complex information clearly. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client challenges effectively. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration. Preferred Qualifications Oracle Cloud implementation certifications, particularly in Subscription Management or CX Cloud. Experience with other Oracle CX Cloud modules (e.g., Sales Cloud, CPQ). Experience integrating with billing and ERP systems. Travel: 50% travel to Austin, TX for the initial 6-8 months, followed by ongoing travel of 25%. We offer a competitive hiring range of USD $46.30 to $95.91 per hour; from $96,300 to $199,500 per year, with potential eligibility for equity.
