Job Type Full-time Description The Club at Rolling Hills is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician / Carpenter to support the upkeep, repair, and improvement of club facilities. This role focuses on maintaining structural and finish carpentry elements while supporting general facility maintenance operations. The ideal candidate has strong carpentry experience, takes pride in maintaining high-quality spaces, and works well both independently and as part of a maintenance team to ensure the club remains safe, functional, and visually well maintained. The Club at Rolling Hills is nestled into South Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Our wonderful facilities and beautiful front range location make the Club one of the premier private Clubs in the Denver Metro area. While the setting is outstanding, the pride and joy of our Club is our membership and staff. The membership has invested in the facilities at Rolling Hills with recent updates to our Tennis Facility and a new on-course Comfort Station. In 2010, the members completed construction of our Clubhouse, and our team has kept the Facility in great shape. We are currently undergoing a golf course renovation project that we will open next spring. As we are a private club, and face time with and among members is common, the right candidate must maintain a cheerful attitude and always present themselves in a professional manner. Responsibilities: Perform repairs and maintenance on doors, frames, cabinets, furniture, shelving, trim, and other carpentry elements throughout the facility. Install and repair baseboards, molding, drywall, paneling, ceilings, and other finish carpentry features. Repair or replace damaged wood structures, partitions, fixtures, and interior finishes. Adjust and repair locks, hinges, door hardware, and related components. Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner and troubleshoot facility repair issues. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building fixtures, equipment, and structural elements. Build and install cabinetry, counters, shelving, and storage solutions as needed. Assist with facility improvement projects including remodeling, space reconfiguration, and interior construction. Construct or modify walls, partitions, and office spaces to support operational needs. Inspect carpentry and structural components for wear, damage, or safety concerns and perform preventative maintenance. Assist with maintaining facility cleanliness and operational readiness when needed. Follow workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure repairs and installations meet building codes and facility standards. Document completed work, materials used, and maintenance activity through the facility work order system. Communicate repair timelines, project progress, and maintenance needs to supervisors. Collaborate with facilities staff, contractors, and other trades to support larger maintenance or renovation projects. RequirementsProven experience in carpentry, building maintenance, or facilities maintenance. Knowledge of drywall repair, door hardware, cabinetry, and finish carpentry techniques. Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Basic understanding of building systems and construction methods. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders or lifts. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in commercial or hospitality building maintenance. Knowledge of ADA accessibility requirements for doors and facility access. Multi-trade skills such as painting, minor electrical, or plumbing repairs.
