Job Description Lead daily activities of the quality inspection team across incoming, inprocess, and final inspections. Provide guidance on resolving nonconformances and interpreting requirements. Coordinate customer source inspections and support audit preparations. Oversee training on blueprint reading, measurement tools, inspection documentation, and customer criteria. Partner with Engineering and Production to drive process improvements and reduce variation. Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development for direct reports. Maintain current knowledge of customer and regulatory changes to ensure compliance. Track inspection turnaround metrics and support documentation reviews and approvals. Perform inspections and generate certificates of conformance when required. Support FAA repair station and ATP scheduling/documentation. The Successful Applicant 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. 1-2 years of experience supervising or leading inspectors preferred. Strong familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards. Knowledge of inspection tools such as comparators, handheld measurement devices, FARO arms, and height stands. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems. Ability to maintain accurate records and prioritize multiple tasks. Understanding of lean principles and quality fundamentals. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience guiding teams through change. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
