Skilled Maintenance Technician | Overview As a Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will take charge of work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and help with the daily upkeep of our community. This role requires HVAC certification and a solid understanding of routine repairs. Qualifications Overview Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience: At least 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance is preferred Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License EPA/HVAC Certification CPO Certification is a plus Key Responsibilities Repair & Preventative Maintenance Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs promptly and professionally. Fulfill all service requests in accordance with Hawthorne standards. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, meeting company standards. Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning. Conduct preventative maintenance as per company policies. Building & Grounds Maintenance Ensure daily upkeep of buildings and common areas, keeping grounds clean and free from litter, debris, and pet waste. Maintain shop area for efficient inventory assessments. Additional Responsibilities Build positive relationships with residents, co-workers, and company staff. Always present a friendly and courteous demeanor. Participate in an on-call emergency service rotation as scheduled. Follow safety guidelines consistent with OSHA regulations and company policies. Work Schedule Our Maintenance Technicians work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position includes an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and occasional support for resident events.
