Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Junior Triage Consultant, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting military service members and their families. You will provide vital assistance, resources, and guidance on various Non-Medical Counseling (NMC) and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), addressing work/life challenges with empathy and professionalism. Assess the needs of callers to ensure quick and effective resolutions on all inquiries. Educate participants about our specialized program offerings while demonstrating a strong understanding of military culture. Conduct thorough professional assessments to determine users’ needs for core NMC/EAP and work/life services. Identify high-risk cases and respond appropriately in line with established protocols. Deescalate high-tension situations while navigating resources to resolve complex issues effectively. Ensure every call complies with contractual service standards and diligently document all interactions in our Case Management System (CMS). Perform follow-up and reporting tasks as assigned to maintain our service excellence. Exhibit outstanding customer service skills, making a positive impact on every call. Demonstrate a deep understanding of military culture, addressing service members by their rank and expressing gratitude for their service. Collaborate with the team to fulfill annual compliance requirements, including training for Cyber Awareness and PII protection. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related human services field. State Licensure for independent practice (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is preferred. 1-2 years of relevant post-graduate experience in counseling, social work, or mental health services. Experience with military and/or Veterans populations is a plus. Additional Skills Must be a U.S. Citizen. Familiar with mandated procedures for child and elder abuse situations. Knowledgeable in areas such as child development, parenting, adoption, education, and services for older adults. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to type approximately 50 wpm. Strong organizational and time management skills. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations. Possession of or ability to obtain current Tier 2 suitability public trust clearance is required. Compensation Ranges Compensation for this role varies based on numerous factors, including location, qualifications, experience, and contract requirements.
