Position Overview: As a BaSE Mechanic, you will perform crucial maintenance activities to keep our operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates should be flexible to work any shift in our 24/7 operation. We currently have an immediate opening for candidates available for the shift starting at 15:00 and ending at 23:30. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment such as batteries, control stations, motor starters, relays, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's). Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components including motors, drive chains, conveyor belts, and bearings. Work with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, conducting inspections and repairs on hoses, cylinders, and pumps. Perform welding tasks for equipment such as handrails and conveyor supports as required. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections across various plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Qualifications: To be eligible, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawful resident alien, or authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: The starting pay rate for this role is $39.89/hr, with wages and benefits determined by our collective bargaining agreement.
