Forklift Driver

Forklift Driver We are seeking a dedicated sit-down forklift operator and lead to join our team. You will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, maintaining warehouse inventory, cycle counting, picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, moving products throughout the warehouse, palletizing, as well as shipping and receiving. This role requires basic computer skills and data entry proficiency, as well as the ability to stay on top of inventory. We need someone who is self-motivated and can direct themselves without needing daily instructions. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift efficiently and safely. Maintain and manage warehouse inventory. Conduct cycle counting and ensure inventory accuracy. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Load and unload trucks with precision. Move products throughout the warehouse as needed. Palletize products and prepare them for shipping. Handle shipping and receiving tasks. Perform basic computer and data entry tasks to manage inventory records. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift. Experience with RF scanners and order picking. Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting. Ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks. Familiarity with SAP and basic data entry. Self-driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a warehouse lead. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a non-climate-controlled, heavy industrial environment. Expect a hot, dirty, and chemical-rich work setting. The typical shift is Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to approximately 3 pm, with the possibility of working 10-hour days. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hernando, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
