Administrative Assistant South Shore Conservatory (SSC) is a community school for the arts on Boston's South Shore, welcoming individuals of all ages and abilities. With campuses in Hingham and Duxbury, SSC's arts-based educational programs provide a creative path for a lifetime of learning, from childhood through adulthood, through outstanding faculty and nationally-celebrated programming in music instruction, ensembles, dance, early childhood education, creative arts therapy, performance, and community and school partnerships. This role provides administrative support and exceptional customer service, helping to foster a welcoming environment for families, faculty, staff, partners, and visitors, and working with faculty and staff across the organization. This position is 100% in-person and located at South Shore Conservatory's Hingham campus, with additional travel to each campus as needed and occasional off-site travel for concerts, meetings, and events. This position is scheduled for a maximum of 24 hours per week with a set schedule of: Tuesday 8:30am4:30pm Wednesday 8:30am4:30pm Thursday 12:30pm8:30pm (or after the last student leaves) All hours will be worked at the Hingham campus. Responsibilities - Essential Functions and Skills: Act as an initial point of contact for general customer inquiries, providing a helpful, supportive experience. Greet families, students, faculty and other visitors, providing a high standard of customer service and conducting business in a respectful, professional manner Respond to email messages, answer phone calls, take messages and follow up in a timely manner. Provide day-to-day front desk coverage, adhering to all essential policies and procedures, including safety and security. Ensure visitor logs and check in/out sheets are current and set out daily. Provide office management support and perform clerical duties including, but not limited to printing, copying, shredding, and posting materials. Receive deliveries and sort/distribute mail. Maintain current understanding of programs and partnerships, personnel, policies and procedures. Have an understanding of the SSC calendar, including regularly scheduled activities, meetings, events and closures. Complete projects and tasks for enrollment team as assigned by Assistant Director of Enrollment
