K- Personal Care Assistant - Learning Support

Our client is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide direct support to students with special needs, ensuring they have the resources and guidance necessary to thrive in an emotional support classroom environment. Personal Care Assistant - Kindergarten Learning Support Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm This job will have the following responsibilities: IEP Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with federal and state guidelines. Behavioral Support: Support the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans to maintain a conducive learning environment. Student Progress Monitoring: Document and monitor student growth, participating in problem-solving teams to adjust support as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with special education teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student mastery of content. Instructional Support: Personalize support based on individual student needs and utilize multi-media technology to enhance learning opportunities. Qualifications & Requirements: Associates Degree preferred High School Diploma required (GEDs are not accepted) Previous experience working with children, ideally within an educational or special education setting Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, administrators, and parents Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills #Education
