The Opportunity: Procurement Specialist As a Procurement Specialist, you'll support procurement activities in a high-mix, low-volume commodity environment, playing a critical role in keeping production moving. You'll be responsible for executing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring material availability to support production schedules. We offer a robust benefits package, including: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): 100% company-funded and designed to grow in value as we succeed together Health, Dental, and Life Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to support your well-being 401(k) Retirement Plan: With company match up to 6% Generous Paid Time Off: Over 20 days annually, plus 10 paid holidays Wellness Incentives: Gym reimbursement and healthy living rewards Family-Friendly Benefits: Paid maternity, paternity, and adoption leave Flexible Spending Accounts: Including dependent care coverage Disability Coverage: Long-term and short-term Education Support: Tuition assistance for continued learning Community Engagement: Paid volunteer time and donation matching Key Responsibilities Issues and manages purchase orders for a diverse range of commodities and components Maintains accurate pricing, lead times, and supplier data in ERP/MRP systems Tracks order confirmations and ensures on-time delivery Communicates proactively with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, shortages, and quality issues Supports material planning efforts to prevent stockouts and excess inventory Expedites critical parts as needed to meet production demands Assists in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining competitive quotes Participates in cost reduction and supplier performance improvement initiatives Reconciles invoice discrepancies in coordination with the Finance department Maintains documentation and compliance with company purchasing policies Performs other additional duties as assigned or required What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience 1+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience Proven attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proficiency with basic ERP/MRP systems Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Desired Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment Familiarity with high-mix manufacturing environments Basic understanding of procurement principles (MOQ, lead time, pricing, Incoterms) Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams Work Location Realityworks, Inc. is located in Eau Claire, WI.
