Guests appreciate the convenience of walk-in visits and the option to check in online. The Salon Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing all aspects of salon operations. This includes providing leadership and resources to help staff build their clientele and improve business performance. This dynamic role involves delivering high-quality hair care services, maintaining superior guest service standards, and driving salon profitability. Our primary goal is to create a welcoming environment that offers quality consultations and exceptional service to ensure a delightful experience for every guest. Key Qualifications: Current cosmetology or barber license and a manager license as required by state/provincial regulations. Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends. Excellent guest service skills, including the ability to understand guest needs, conduct quality consultations, and perform services efficiently and professionally. Administrative skills to manage scheduling, handle transactions on a computerized register, execute close-out procedures, and engage in light housekeeping duties (including banking procedures, inventory management, and staff meetings). Proficient in resolving guest concerns and enhancing their overall experience. Strong leadership skills to foster a positive work environment, train staff effectively, and address employee-related issues. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds. Continuous use of hands, wrists, and arms in repetitive motions. Frequent reaching, including above shoulder level. Comfortable working with various chemicals and fragrances used in salon services. Ability to observe guests' hair, requiring close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment as necessary. Effective communication skills to engage with guests regarding services offered and their specific needs. Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, which may involve overnight stays.
