Join Staples as a Territory Sales Representative, where you will play a vital role in our business-to-business (B2B) success. In this dynamic position, you will target and secure new small to medium business customers within your defined territory. Your goal is to expand our customer base by leveraging various engagement methods such as phone calls, video meetings, face-to-face interactions, and digital tools. What You'll Be Doing: Effectively set appointments each week with key decision makers. Utilize strong selling skills to drive engagement and close sales. Identify and communicate the unique value Staples offers to prospects. Overcome objections and finalize sales agreements. Employ tools like Priority List, Tenfold, and SFDC to enhance efficiency and document customer interactions. Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support and category specialists, to successfully move deals forward. Implement successful onboarding processes for new accounts and ensure customer satisfaction. Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of prospects based on industry insights. Maintain daily professional communication with prospects both in person and remotely. What You Bring to the Table: A strong drive to succeed and a competitive mindset. The ability to learn from rejection and continually improve your approach. A proven track record in business development and sales. Expertise in delivering engaging presentations both virtually and in person. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Basic understanding of business and financial operations. A self-starter attitude with minimal supervision required. Demonstrated work ethic and self-discipline in a competitive environment. Basic Qualifications: 1-3 years of successful sales experience, or a track record as a Staples B2B Sales Associate. 3+ years of experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Prior knowledge or experience in the industry is a plus.
